Advert Planning: Ideas

We had two ideas for our Magazine Advert which both related closely to the story of the video and the band itself.

Our first idea was to use the gravestone featured in the video and try to clear all writing on it, before adding our own text inscribed onto it. However, this would have been quite hard to do to a good standard so we thought of another idea which was much simpler. The second idea we came up with was to simply use the same image of the band we used on our digipack.

Whichever design we decided to use, we didn't want too much writing on it to keep it simple and effective. The only text we chose to use was the band name, the album name and 'Out Now!' as this is all the information needed to appeal to fans of the band and possibly lure in new listeners by showcasing their greatest hits.
